Please welcome Kirby & Alexa of The Short and the Sweet of It!

A special treat today from the adorable duo behind the completely charming and totally relatable-for-me lifestyle blog The Short and the Sweet of It! Let’s take a sneak peek at their 2nd bday celebration — these gals know how to throw a pretty party. And they’re getting me really excited for Spring!

Hello Small Shop readers! It’s Kirby and Alexa from The Short and the Sweet of It. In just about one week we will celebrate the second birthday of our sweet little blog and we’ve had our eye on darling little tablescapes for a possible upcoming soiree.

Macaroons courtesy of Sweet Lydia’s from last year’s Short and Sweet event.

We recently shared wine and appetizers on Kirby’s charming patio. The bold yellow and green hues of the flowers were a lovely touch.

An intimate garden patio party with books, succulents and lots of candles (things that all bloggers love) seems like a perfect way to ring in Year Two of The Short and the Sweet of It. {Photos from a little summer party Alexa held for a few of her friends).

Below are a few ideas that we’ve been drawn to when it comes to what you might find on our party table. I mean what blogger doesn’t love cheese and chocolate?

Erika, thank you so much for having us on your sweet blog, we are so honored. You are ALL invited to our upcoming party. Details soon! :)

Kirby and Alexa are so sweet! Not only did I have the pleasure of meeting them in person, but we also came to hear of each other through a mutual friend (so weird)! That table set up is so lovely and simple. Makes me think of a warm, spring day :)
