Love this photo of the mid-century modern masters, with their masterpieces.

We’ve covered Saarinen and Platner in our series “Design Under the Influence” on La Dolce Vita. Today, let’s do BertoiaCome join me!

I’ve always wanted a Bertoia arm chair, to mix into a room like below (one of my absolute favorite rooms):

What about you?

    1. Well I am not surprised!! Cannot wait to see what you do with your master. It’s going to be amazing.

  1. Great post! Love the palette of this room, and the balance of feminine and masculine elements. I have four Bertoias around my kitchen table–a MAJOR splurge for me, but I adore them and use them every day!

  2. Oh wow, this is one of my favorite rooms of all time! Those stools, the chandelier, the chair, everything! And of course I would love to have a Bertoia chair! Heading over to LDV right now.

  3. OMG that room is my dream!!! I love the mix of styles!! It’s seriously perfect. I wanted those Bertoia chairs for my kitchen but my husband vetoed them. I’d love to have one somewhere in my house though!! xoxo Elizabeth

  9. Erika, that top photo is incredible!! I’ve never seen them pictured all together like that. This is such serendipitous timing too… I watched the Eames documentary last night and published a post today about their famous Molded Plywood chair. They had a fascinating story!
