[Guest Post] Mimosa Lane The Cozy Cable Knit

Please welcome Albertina of Mimosa Lane!

You know when you come across a blogger with that “eye” but with the added bonus of being truly, genuinely sweet? That is our guest today, Albertina. On Mimosa Lane she shares the pretty daily, and even went as far as to mail some pretty to me for my pin board project! I mean really. Gorgeous inside and out, and amazing style on top of it all!

Hi, I’m Albertina from Mimosa Lane and I cannot adequately express to you, Shop Talk readers, how thrilled I am to be guest posting for Erika today.  Shop Talk is on the top of my everyday must reads because it is filled with such beautiful inspiration and is always such a wealth of information.  I especially love Erika’s Design Under the Influence series and just can’t get enough of her exquisite taste.

Today I’m inspired by the changing weather we are having.  We are starting to get a sense that fall is arriving as the air starts getting crisper.  True fall days are around the corner- enter the cozy knit sweater.  I think no matter what your dress style is there is always room for a cozy cable knit sweater.  They are really very versatile and can look ultra chic with most anything like a black leather skirt, or a pair of ripped up boyfriend jeans, or even with a romantic pleated skirt.  It doesn’t get any better than being cozy and chic at the same time. Take a looksy

How would you style your cable knit sweater?

Thanks Erika for having me!  This was so much fun. xx

Desiring an online space to explore well-rounded, inspired content in all topics she loves most, Erika created 'The E List' (formerly the Small Shop blog) in 2010. When not enjoying an “occasional" glass of wine and wanderlusting for even warmer climates, Erika can be found sharing laughs with friends and family, and trying her very best to keep up with her 6-year old daughter (yet failing miserably).

  1. Too fab! Albertina’s eye for fab style is on fire here. So wish it were a tad chilly in Miami right now so I could don a sweater. I’ll have to wait since it’s a whopping 90 degrees today! Madness.

  2. Albertina I just love cable knit! Imagine how good some cable knit bedding would be! I love how this sweater can be dressed up or down. I want one in cream!
