HIDDEN GEM Elizabeth Spencer Winery

Just returned from a whirlwind trip to Napa Valley with my daughter, and wanted to be sure to share a fave spot of mine I’m so happy I got to visit again in my brief time there. I’ve mentioned before that my dad works in the wine industry, so I’m very fortunate that he introduces me to new and perhaps lesser known wineries every time I come up. Elizabeth Spencer may be small in size, but believe me, big in flavor and ambiance! The unassuming brick facade across from Rutherford Grill hides an intimate, vineyard-side outdoor courtyard that you’ll never want to leave. I highly recommend you make a reservation the next time you’re in town…

My “must have” pick: their Rosé, a perfect warm weather wine! (The Spring Mountain Cab is also amazing!)

Hope you had a lovely weekend too!

  3. oh i want to be back there right this minute! this is truly one of the most magical little courtyards i’ve ever been in, and the wine is just spectacular. we bought a rather pricey bottle when there last november and are saving it for a special occasion (maybe when Baby arrives and mommy can indulge again? ha!)

  6. This place sounds just perfect! Adding to my list for our return trip. Napa is one of my favorite places on Earth. Also bookmarked your links from the earlier post. I tend to get stuck in a rut and visit my favorites again and again. I’d love to visit some new ones!
