It’s not often that you audibly gasp at every piece in a single show during fashion week.

You hope for it, you desperately desire to see the mastery, the craftsmanship, the precision (show me, please!). But alas, you don’t see it, often. And then there’s Marchesa’s Fall 2016 collection: designers Georgina Chapman and Karen Craig knocked it out of the Gosford Park with delicately, ornately embellished deco Edwardian-inspired individual works of art…beaded, embroidered, layered, ruffled, feathered…you name it.
