When I was in the startup world I got to see firsthand how irresponsible business leaders create havoc, mistrust, and waste (of time, money, and valuable resources, like our people!). Needless to say, it surprised and saddened me. I don’t mean to scare you or use this as a scare tactic, but rather, to let you in on why it was so important to me to contribute my small part from my 18 years of expertise to create something better.
We as female founders and women leaders have a unique opportunity to be a part of a new way of doing business: from an authentic intention that drives positive impact on and for the people we serve — also called “positive business.” Learning this new way and shifting into it will not only help you create real, lasting value for your team and customers or clients, but will also bring you the kind of daily and lifelong fulfillment you didn’t know was possible. Once you discover that uniqueness within you and the best way to bring that out for the best of everyone you impact… well, there’s really nothing better. I know it’s true because it happened to me.
I hope you’ll decide to join me on embarking on this journey I started two years ago when I formalized my Intentional Branding™ framework and took it to cities across the U.S. to teach women how to incorporate it into their businesses. My hope is that as we nurture the next generation of powerful women, we can all do our part to shift the business landscape from one of aggression, greed, “hustle” (yuck), and irresponsible behavior, to one of compassion, generosity, “wellth,” and respect.
