It’s a long time coming, but hopefully worth the wait! If you’ve been following me for at least (ahem) a year, you know I’ve been slowly but surely working on transitioning my daughter’s nursery to a big girl room. While I didn’t want to have to get new of everything, I definitely wanted to tie in a “cute bohemian” theme somehow, some way. Lo and behold, with the help of an elephant lamp, a vintage peacock headboard, a D.I.Y. canopy, John Robshaw, Jonathan Adler, and a last-minute kantha ikat quilt purchase*, I was actually able to pull it off! My FIRLs Irene and Sabra came to the rescue to style and photograph the space, and I am THRILLED with the result, as is Leighton (clearly!). I hope you are too! Sources below…

A million thank you’s to Irene and Sabra for helping me pull it together and making it look so pretty for you all! These immensely talented ladies are posting Leighton’s room today too — can’t wait to see what pics they chose. Go check them out!
Such a girly and precious room! Great work! Loving the seating by the windowsill!
So precious and adorable! I love how it all came together! And I will be doing that DIY when my daughter moves to a big bed!
Erika, it’s beautiful!!! Leighton is one lucky little lady! There isn’t a thing I don’t love, but that bench area upholstered in Celerie Kemble’s fabric is adorbs! The wait was worth it ;) have a fab weekend!!

Amazing! So beautiful. A beautiful room for a beautiful little girl. I’m sure her childhood memories of her in this room will be magical! xx
Absolutely adorable!
So, so beautiful! You’re one talented lady!
It looks amazing! I want to move in :)
aaaaaaaaaadorable!! i would have loved to have that room as a kid, too!!
I love it! It really came together. Is it weird I’m jealous of your daughter’s blue willow elephant lamp? Side note, could she be any cuter?! Seriously, her sly smile is adorable!
That is just too cute! So jealous I’m not in Cali to do collabs with you three! XO
This room is so beautiful! I love all the details and the color.
What an adorable room. I especially love the yellow night table and at $25 that was a total score.
I couldn’t believe it when I found it as we were walking to a restaurant for dinner, in an alley! Bought it on the spot. My poor husband had to strip it, and then paint it 5 times to cover the dark wood!
So incredibly perfect!!! That daybed by the window is sublime. Love what you did with the space.
No no no, LOOOVE it! I’m pretty jealous about her elephant lamp, been wanting it but the husband is not 100% on board! (not even sure if they still have it!) Gorgeous room!
I love it! Everything is so beautiful!
What a fun space! I love the window seat. Between the canapé and the window seat, I don’t think I’d ever hang out anywhere else as a child! Great job Erika!
So pretty, I want to live in that room!
Love the fabric you used for the window seat!
This bedroom is so beautiful, such as the owner!!! This little girl is really lucky to have a so talented mum.
It is too precious…the pics are amazing!!

So lovely! I’m jealous of her window seat. I love all the details. And she is a big girl – breakables! Max isn’t ready for those yet. I’m excited to do his big boy room though and Sadie’s nursey / big girl room for our new house.

Erika it came out SO well! I’m almost done with Mila’s room as it turns out and went for a bohemian feel as well. It’s one of my favorite rooms in our house! :)
Just catching up to this post and all I can say is WOW. So many darling touches. Especially loving the bleeker fabric on the window seat and that elephant lamp! It’s evident that a lot of love went into that room. Leighton is a lucky girl!
