CONCEPT TO REALITY Jackson’s Nursery

Jackson's nursery: crib, map, giraffe

A nursery fit for a little king

Many thanks to Paloma Contreras and High Gloss Magazine (pages 48-49) for the opportunity to share with their readers all the fun I had with the baby shower and nursery for the cutie pie! He did arrive into the world bright blue eyed on May 13th, 2011, all safe and sound!!

As a follow up, here are a few photos we took of the nursery, and the original concept board. Didn’t his mommy do a fantastic job bringing it all to life? There are a few pieces that haven’t arrived, but this should give you a pretty good idea how it came out!

Yay!!! Stunning, gorgeous, perfect! I am obsessed with that chest – I thought it was Bungalow 5! Please post on the step by step (stain color and where you got the pulls)! Love it! I guess the baby is ok, too… ;)

Love the dresser. Contemplating purchasing one for my master bedroom. Did you refinish it? The one on the site looks like it has a bit more of a brown tint. If so, what did you do? And where did you find the brass pulls? They’re amazing!

Love these ideas! We currently live in Africa, travel a lot, and want to incorporate some of that without it being too “theme-y”. . .

This is such a cute nursery! Was the map something you already owned or was a purchase from somewhere? I’ve only been able to find small versions of maps! :)

Pat somewhat of one’s new oil on the rubber seal of the new filter and then screw it in yourself.
Auto transfer would have been a smart way to get your vehicle house.
