EASTER EGG SILLIES

How happy are you it’s Friday? It’s been a crazy week here, so I decided to take yesterday afternoon off to do a little Easter “crafting” with my wee one. She was so excited at school all day, telling her friends and teachers about our project together….

Found this kit at Target for $5. I thought, hey, stickers sound simple enough. I’m not trying to overachieve here.

Pulled out these little herb pots we had, and paper Easter grass too. After coloring the eggs (which I hadn’t done since I was a wee one myself), she took over… drawing and sticking and telling us how it all should be done.

All I can say is that the husband and I couldn’t help but laugh. We’re not being mean (she thought they were pretty funny too), but we couldn’t get this pin out of our heads….

I was actually impressed I’m not gonna lie! Not too shabby for a 3 year-old.

But still laughing.

Have a wonderful Easter weekend!

She’s adorable! And how fun are those eggs? I tell you, I recently spent hours buying all the supplies you could possibly imagine for some serious egg decorating fun with my school aged niece and nephews and in the end, we had mostly unadorned, standard issue eggs- some even cracked. It was like herding cats trying to keep them interested. But it’s funny, I’ve talked to them several times since then and they continue to tell me how much fun they had. Looks like you guys had some fun too!

These are funny. You really captured her getting in to it. I personally think they look better silly. She’s gonna be quite the artist when she grows up.
