FUR (FAUX) REAL: 5 Ways I’m Wearing It

I finally caved…

Eye’ve been spying the fur vest everywhere this fall, but have resisted biting the bullet until a gorgeous Vince Camuto number went on clearance. Because the season is half over, you will be seeing me in this vest on every occasion I can possibly squeeze in. I apologize in advance, but I love it! Especially so when paired with these looks:

BB Dakota vest | Day Birger et Mikkelsen tee | Kate Spade sunglasses | J.Crew bag

Halston Heritage vest | Madewell blouse | Bauble Bar necklace | J.Crew clutch

Anthropologie vest | Carrera sunglasses | J.Crew turtleneck | J Brand pants

Velvet vest | Alice + Olivia dress | Bauble Bar ring | Badgley Mischka pumps

Trina Turk vest | Splendid sweater | Michael Kors watch | Madewell boots

Have you caved too? Or have you been strong enough to resist? It’s very tempting — such a chic accent to just about anything!

I have been resisting, only since it is still in the high 70s and 80s down here. but I want a fur vest so badly. I kinda need it for my European honeymoon in a couple of weeks, right? xo

Love it, so chic. I haven’t been able to find one I like where I’m at (I’m so ready for a move to a big city) and I’ve had bad experiences ordering fur online; so I’m holding out for now. I’m kinda afraid it will be the piece I want to wear with everything, not sure I have the self control. I’m sure you’ll rock it just perfectly! xo

Love these ideas and can’t wait to wear my white mink vest! It has been so hot here that I have not been able to wear any fur yet – we only get about 3 months of cold weather – Dec-Feb…can’t wait!

You make a convincing case. If I wasn’t broke from the vacay I’d be all over this. Still I imagine these little numbers look much cuter on models than they would on me….
