Hapa Hawaiian Salts
As Hapa Hawaiian Salts prepared to grow beyond its local following and reach more hospitality, culinary and gifting partners, the brand needed a more elevated and cohesive presence that could communicate both its Hawai‘i roots and its premium quality. Working with the existing logo and icon, we expanded the original black-and-white identity into a warmer, more vibrant palette of greens and tans, creating a look that felt grounded, welcoming and connected to the islands.
We also developed a custom pattern using the brand icon and the naupaka flower, arranged to evoke the familiar geometry of a Hawaiian quilt. The result was a refreshed identity and Shopify website that brought together the brand’s handcrafted salt blends, cultural inspiration and strong sense of place in a way that felt distinctive, locally rooted and ready for a broader market.
