I hear a lot of women say they suffer from “Imposter Syndrome.” Let’s call it out for what it is: an excuse.
I do not say this to be mean, but to call you into your power. Stop using it as an excuse to continue to live inauthentically and behave unintentionally. Rather, do the work and get to the core of who you are, whom you are here to serve, and what you can uniquely offer. Once you discover your truth and live your truth, you simply do not feel like an imposter and do not need to hide behind it.
Also sounds a little like: “Don’t be mad at me for my success, I don’t really feel like I deserve it.” What are we doing to each other, ladies, that we feel we need to say this?
A bit of that “martyrdom syndrome” too: “Why would anyone want to listen to little old me?” Hear that? That’s all FEAR and EGO.
Get over yourself! We simply do not have time for that. We’ve got work to do. Shine now.
(Said with love.)
