OUR HOLIDAY DECOR: Gold/White/Silver + Black/Green

…wishing you the merriest…

As I mentioned, this year we initially went for the gold/white/silver look. Pretty, but kinda boring….

Then I saw the inspiration to add black/white/green into the mix for a little pop. And while I didn’t have the time to add it to the tree, I was able to find black/white gift wrap and green ribbon at Target…score!

I had to hang the David Hicks’ La Fiorentina stockings that Melanie of Plum Cushion made for me with extra fabric from my pillows last year.

And isn’t anything more festive with Lucite candlesticks and Jonathan Adler gold bud vases? Especially with the lights we added to the West Elm bay leaf garland we’ve had for years.

And here’s our Christmas card — see I told you, I went all out with this look as best I could two weeks before Christmas!

Wishing you the merriest holiday! I am overworked and overtired, so I’m definitely looking forward to a week in Napa and hoping to come back refreshed. I’ll think of you as I down that ’96 Montelena cab. ;0)

And remember the gray/white/orange baby shower and nursery scheme? Well…he’s here! So I’ll also get to meet my new nephew too, born 2 days ago!!!

Thank you for visiting me here on this little page! I am extremely appreciative, especially lately as I’ve been here, there, everywhere. I’ve got some positively lovely posts set up for next week, to get us all on the right (heeled) foot for the new year!

We have a very similar color scheme going as well! I love the b/w/green touches, will have to remember that for next year (maybe with pink?!).

I love the tree and definitely not boring. I’d say restrained. I can stand the trees that look like Christmas threw up all over them. Wishing you and your fam (including the new wee one) a Merry Merry Christmas!!
