SIX NEW YEAR’S EVE OUTFIT OPTIONS: Help!

…6 dresses, 1 night…

Need your opinion! I’ve pulled out six different options for a New Year’s Eve party tomorrow night at a friend’s place. What’s your vote?

black low-back sequin dress + white patent chain Kooba bag + black platform pumps

DVF cobalt blue dress + black sandals + black sparkly clutch + silver necklace

black lace shift + J.Crew leopard clutch + Loeffler Randall black lizard pumps

silver dress + gold Lauren Merkin clutch + gold/pearl necklace + Jimmy Choo python sandals

navy silk chiffon Winter Kate dress + faux fur vest + gold Lauren Merkin clutch + black booties

Halston Heritage pleated dress + gold chain + J.Crew leopard clutch + gold sandals

What are your plans for tomorrow night? What will you be wearing?
Hope you have a great time, and see you in 2012!

*I took these photos before leaving this week for Napa, and if you caught my tweet the other day, have since found a pair of Pierre Hardy python sandals on major clearance! Therefore, I will need to consider incorporating them somehow, someway, don’t you think?

Oh my gosh thank you for linking to that tweet as I missed it–ah-ma-zing!!!! I think they do in fact need to be added to your outfit. What about adding them to the cobalt blue dress? That color would look stunning on you. Have an amazing NYE! I have no clue what my plans are yet so of course I don’t have an outfit. I’ll have to see what I can whip up tomorrow.

    xoxo,

    Carly

I like cozy in #5, the fur is fun! But #1 sequin is oh so sparkly fun & perfect for NYE!
    Enjoy a night out!!

I vote for the last outfit and add those unbelievable Pierre Hardy pythons to the mix. I was watching Sex and City 2 last night and fell in love with all the pleated looks SJP sports :)

I vote #1 for traditional sparkly NYE attire. that’s what an all sequin dress was made for right?
OR i’m also loving #6 with your new python heels. love the pleats. have a good one!

I vote for #6 with your new sandals!

Number 6 with your new sandals

I adore #2 and #6. Here’s why. I went shopping two days ago to find me a little something for new years, and realized that pretty much everyone and their mom will be in sequins this year. Seriously — sooooo many sequined dresses out there, and many of them were just not what I was looking for. I actually think you might stand out more in something not sequined! I love how #6 has this almost flapper/20s influence to it. And #2 is just a gorgeous color!

I’m going to be rocking this eggplant purple dress I found. Tights, pearls, and sparkly jewels included!

I’m loving the blue, so I say #2 or #5. Plus I have that DVF dress in bronze and know how comfy and flattering it is at the same time!!

    #1 or #2. Simple and glamorous! x

Erika I LOVE this post! So fun! So many options! So overwhelmed!
#1 is for sure the most NYEish but like Victoria said, kinda predictable, but my fav would be #6. Those Halston dresses are wonderful and flirty. You need a night out to wear #5 asap as well. Adorable.

Here was my NYE outfit dilemma

I decided to go with the Kourtney look after all! Have fun!

I soooooo agree with vmac. I decided a few days ago that sparkly might be the obvious choice. OR, maybe that’s just because we see it everywhere in blogland. Maybe it won’t be the go-to choice since you might be at a party where not everyone has blog obsessions.

    My vote is no.6.

It’s SO hard to choose! I think I like #2 because it’s so bright and eye-catching… but #3 is fab, and I’m a sucker for lace anything. They are all amazing– can’t you just have 5 wardrobe changes at this party??? :) xo

If you were in NYC, I would say the fur number. But since it isn’t as chilly there… gosh this is really hard! …I’m leaning towards #5. BUT WOW, your closet is amazing! Honestly, I’m not sure I could even put 6 fabulous outfits like that together. xoxo Happy New Year!

I think the second option (the blue one) would look absolutely fabulous on you! I would go for that one, but all of them are so gorgeous. I know I would have a hard time choosing…
Have a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I l.o.v.e. reading your blog – you have spot on style. For your outfit, I’m a sucker for sequins and think #1 is FAB with the sleek, modern accessories that make it perfect for NYE. But, I’m also loving #5, as it’s a little more unexpected. Can’t go wrong with either of them! Happy 2012!

Don’t think you can go wrong no matter what you choose. I really do love #1 & #5. The sequins may be expected but it does scream “It’s NYE, lets drink Champagne”! Go with what you feel the most fabulous in. I will be feeling fabulous in my pj’s in a cabin in the woods! Have a ball! xo

I’m pretty sure no one else will be rocking such an edgy/glamorous outfit as #5, though ;)
Can’t wait to see the one you chose! You’ll look stunning in either one, I know it!!
    Happy New Year, Erika!
