Thankful for this little munchkin today, that I get to be her mommy and every day be amazed at her growth and personality, be her audience as she sings and dances with such heartfelt/closed-eyes emotion, laugh out loud at the funniest things she says in the most serious way, wonder how she can bring out happiness and warmth in everyone around her, let her be lovable and cuddly and excited even when I may not be. Because you see, there was a time when I wasn’t so sure she would ever come. And when I think back to that time, it makes me even more thankful that she finally did.
