What’s Your Angle? What’s Your Pattern?

Criss-crosses and cross-angles…

Working on a board for my new living room scheme, but got distracted when I noticed all of the patterned geometry in the space. Are you drawn to certain patterns, colors or elements in your home? Apparently, this is me:

It’s no wonder I’m obsessed with the Billy Cotton chandelier and Pierre Frey fabric from the latest Lonny issue! How utterly predictable.

This weekend, take a look around your home and see if you notice a “pattern” of your own.

More to come on that new living room board!

...xoxo

What an interesting way to zero in on the details! Lovin’ the snippets of your stuff. Not sure if I have many theme repeats- I tend to lean toward eclectic chaos. But I’m planning some serious apartment work this weekend, so I’ll try to look at it with a fresh eye.

Thanks! Can’t take credit for the technique, I’ve seen it on a lot of blogs. I think it’s a good thing that you have an eclectic taste, it keeps it interesting!

Of course those pics could have come straight from my own house. I am always drawn to zig zags, diamonds, and hard geometric patterns over anything else. Only you could make it look so gorgeous and cohesive and make me feel ok about it! It’s not a rut, it’s a lifestyle…. :)

That’s right Lily, I think I remember you pinned a Saarinen table too — I have the side table next to the Barcelona chair! I’ll email you with the resource, it’s local.

Interesting. I should go around and check out repeating patterns in my house. But most likely it’s a hodge podge of stuff I found on sale.

    Happy Weekend!

Now I’m itching to get home and discover my pattern, although I have a feeling it’s monochrome (as in devoid of any pattern). I think I’m a solids person and I’m kind of ashamed of this.
