Still pouring through 1000+ photographs (!) from my London and Marrakech trips, but definitely wanted to share these: the sophisticated, art-filled home of a dear friend’s parents off the Fulham Road on the Chelsea/Kensington border in London.
Her mum is an artist, trained at the prestigious Central Saint Martins School of Art (the same of A. McQueen and S. McCartney). Her own originals (like the two large canvases above) and pieces from her elegantly curated collection pepper the gallery-like spaces she’s designed for herself and her husband of 54 years. As we sat sharing espresso and stories in her light-filled kitchen one (surprisingly) sunny morning, I felt compelled to whip out my camera and document this exceptional woman’s inspired taste.
Above left, her first piece of sculpture as a young student at Saint Martins; below, a detail of a painting from her ‘Encounters’ series
Tassels she picked up in the souk in Marrakech hang on every door handle — you’d better believe I immediately regretted not picking up some of my own! Next time…

Such a peaceful home! I love the all white spaces, I’ve been trying to get my place back to all white walls and cabinets. Slowly!
Her paintings are beautiful xx

What a gorgeous home! I love the modern and chic feel of the space. Loving all the natural lighting too.
