I should have mentioned in my Love Story post last week that we honeymooned in Italy. And if I had to pick a favorite city from that trip, it would have to be Venice. It was a bit surreal, too pretty and car-free, that it definitely felt like a movie set. Seeing this spread from Elle Mexico made me first, fondly remember this beautiful city, and second, wish I had a better travel wardrobe (then and now)!

These photos are gorgeous! I’ve never been to Venice, but I have been to Florence and fell so in love with Italy! I would love to go back again someday, hopefully soon and see more. Love all of the outfits, especially the last dress. I can’t imagine looking that chic everyday on vacation, but a girl can dream right? Have a great day :)

I am hopefully hitting Italy next summer; a life dream of mine. Venice is on the list! My brother has been and it is one of his favorite places, and he has been a lot of places. He said Florence is also amazing. Gorgeous photos! Do you have any of your honeymoon? I’m sure we would I love to see them!!! Wink!

Ah the editorial is killing me! Surprisingly, Venice was my least favorite city in Italy. My favorite…Florence! I can’t wait to go back.

You are so right, Venice is surreal. My husband (fiancé at the time) surprised me with a stunning pair of Rene Caovilla shoes for our wedding during our trip there. Everywhere you look there is beauty and I have such fond memories from our time there. Such a magical place! Thanks for reminding me…

Venice was my favorite too. Well, of Venice Rome and Florence. There’s still so much of Italy to see. We missed our flight to Venice so we really only got like a day and a half, but I still really enjoyed it the most. I knew about the canals but I didn’t realize the entire city was surrounded by them. And I got a kick out of the boat taxis.
the closest I’ve been to Venice was Vegas :-) Growing up it was definitely a place I didn’t want to visit because I couldn’t imagine boating everywhere but as I’ve grown, it’s on my bucket list of travels.
