I’m back from Miami and back to work, celebrating a new launch for client Clara Persis! Clara came to me to help change over her popular food blog Channeling Contessa to a more comprehensive brand that represented her unique social media and digital strategy services. It was a delight to work with her, and I learned so much about this growing, new field in the process. As always, we started with the logo and business card, and moved to a new website and integrated blog, expertly executed by developer Zoe Rooney…
What’s always fascinating to me is when we end up with a look vastly different than what the client thought she wanted initially. This actually happens more than you’d think, and is part of the fun for me too — to see if I can show a client something she didn’t know she wanted until she saw it!
Congrats to Clara! She deserves all of her success thus far and in years to come! She’s seriously great.

I love how it came out! Looks pretty, cohesive and easy to navigate. You did a great job! I love what you said too, that you show people what they didn’t realize they wanted-the mark of a truly great designer.

Thank you, Erika! Truth to showing me what I actually wanted!! It blows my mind to think back on the initial ideas I gave you in comparison to where we ended up, but goodness am I thankful. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my new look and feel like it’s really going to serve as a springboard for growing my business. Thank you thank you!!
