More summer style…
I remember when we lived in NYC, I felt like nobody wore shorts! Very odd for a Hawaiian Cali girl such as myself. So I am pleased to see that shorts are back in style in the big city. With sandals they’re a summer staple, and with a sweater and booties, easily into early fall.

In the last few years I had not been wearing shorts except for when I ran, but now I am wearing them again and loving it! Such cute selections. Love the tribal and mint!

I used to wear knee shorts and espadrilles in NY! We just never ran into each other, I guess… I love shorts, but I have to wear wedges or something to elongate my legs or I feel dumpy!

I love wearing shorts this summer! But I have to wear them with heels most of the time because I’m so short. Loving the tribal and deco shorts, and if I can find a reasonably priced pair I would love to try black leather. Going to check out Topshop right now :)

I literally live in them all summer long. As much as I would like to say that I wear dresses, I’m more of a shorts girl! Though there are some really gorgeous dresses at Madewell right now ;)
I love shorts, but I don’t think that they flatter my body type. If I were a bit taller I would totally rock short shorts all summer long!
I could seriously not get through the summer without shorts! And a scalloped hem dresses them up just enough. Perfect for chasing after the little one, too!
I need new shorts. Come summer I live in my vintage levis cutoffs. Third summer running. I think it’s time for a change. I’ve got my eye on the forals. And that girl’s hair in pic 5.

i have a long torse and short, stocky legs…so shorts are not my friend. i still wear them but it is pretty rare. i prefer skirts any day of the week!
I felt that way when I lived in NYC too and shorts can be so chic! (I didn’t like to wear them b/c who wants their bare thighs on a subway seat? :-)
