Are we there already?
Spotted this spread by Nico in a recent issue of Harper’s Bazaar Spain, featuring model Bambi Northwood-Blyth in Gucci, Tom Ford and DVF in all its ’80s-ish splendor. So what do we think? Are we ready for shoulder pads and teased hair to make a comeback yet? Nonetheless, she looks rad and I like totally love the concept…
I admit, I am having a few flashbacks thinking about a certain high school reunion coming up! Yikes.
Maybe hold the shoulder pads honey, but loving every other element of this fabulous shoot.
I can’t stop looking at the model. How did she get those eyebrows AND those lips. You better believe I’d be making money off those brows if that were me!
full eyebrows, too! bring it on! :)
Loving the photos but dont think I could rock these looks…especially not the shoulder pads ! Ha. She looks so fabulous though !!

I’m sorry, I can’t see past the wooly caterpillars on her face!!! They are more than I can handle. eek!
And what HS reunion are you up to now?? My 15th is next weekend… How did that happen? :(
Double sad face for me!
I never ever understood shoulder pads. As for the eyebrows… I get excited just thinking of plucking mine less, but I feel like the growing out process is super awkward.
Reunion, eh? Have a few cocktails and it will be a grand ole time :)
I’m not over the 70s trend yet, but I do love the wild hair and the bushy eyebrows. I must admit too, that a toned down version of the shoulder pad can be awesome. I have a couple soft blazers that look more structured with a shoulder pad.
Awesome photo shoot, but I’ll stick with the pre-80’s styles for myself ;)
It’s amazing how some of those looks are still relevant now. I love the dress 3rd from the bottom.
Me too – by far my fave and probably b/c it looks more disco than 80’s!
I’m all for the powerful business woman, but not too sure about the power-suit look, shoulder pads and all… she does look smokin in this shoot though!
More proof the 80s are back. Except this is less glam and more punk. Not a look I’m loving: http://becauseimaddicted.net/2011/07/when-punk-meets-funk.html
I’m so not ready to give up my 70’s yet! I hope the 80’s can hold off a little longer.
