An evening that will live with me for the rest of my life.
Just returned from our Élanoura Global Founder’s Retreat Mallorca where I had the incredible opportunity to lead a group of women founders in a week of finding purpose, connection, and impact. We stayed at the 5-star Fontsanta Thermal Spa & Wellness Hotel with massage treatments, daily soaks in the healing mineral waters, gourmet meals, a Spanish cooking class, and a fun Flamenco dance lesson! I posted a 90-second recap on Instagram here
The highlight of the week was our volunteer opportunity with 15 women survivors of violence, where artist Alex Cole led us in an art activity and photographer Katee Grace took personal portraits for each of the women. I think what touched me the most is how charitable they were toward US — strangers speaking a different language, coming into their world, and they each welcomed us with tremendous warmth, support, enthusiasm and love.
The experience will forever live in all of our hearts, I know that. And it invigorates me every time I think of that evening and link it back to why I started Élanoura in the first place: because I know firsthand the power that women have when we tap into the feminine parts of ourselves to make an impact for others. We can get so caught up in our little bubbles, and when we open up and allow ourselves to expand beyond, we can do so much. And we take that back with us into our homes, our lives…forever changed.
Thank you to all the women who made the commitment to themselves, their businesses and their impact by joining me in Mallorca, and thank you to Fundació IRES for providing us with the opportunity to make a mark and make it matter!
