Take Mario Testino’s shoot for Allure’s September 2011 issue: model Candice Swanepoel bears just enough skin between layers of luxe, lizard and lush to make me want to ditch the doldrum tones of autumn for a totally neutral palette.
Mix this look with a little gold, and you’re good to go in my book!
p.s. Anyone going to FNO? Do tell! I’m trying to get my butt to motivate after some exhausting days of sick daughter and major overtime. But the festivities here in the O.C. pale in comparison to those elsewhere, so that doesn’t exactly help!

Nude accessories- love. I can’t pull off much of anything else in the nude category because I don’t think it works well with my skin tone. Maybe that’s just me, but I do love the look. Ugh, I have a sick kiddo as we speak. Not fun, but hoping your little sweetie is feeling better!
I LOVE that spread and that chunky knit! Going to SD’s FNO for the first time. I’m sure it won’t be as grand as anything in NY or LA, but I’m so curious to see what all the hype is about!

I think there is nothing sexier than a chunky sweater or men’s button up with nothing underneath.. and nothing comfier. Recently I’ve been finding myself turning to nudes and neutrals as my new go to instead of black. And of course a little gold never hurts any look!

I love nudes and that color palette. It doesn’t matter if i’m pale or bronze, they go with everything. I’m so happy that it is a hit color this season, it’s making fall much easier to ease into. I’m with you, not going the usual fall route, lets just go nude. lol.
