D.I.Y. Bed Tent Canopy

This weekend I tackled a D.I.Y. for my daughter’s room, and it was SO easy, I had to share!

I searched for the idea initially on Pinterest, but then I couldn’t find any curtain panels that went with her room decor. So I decided to make my own, using a pair of $10 sheers from IKEA, some pom-pom trim from the local fabric store and a hot glue gun, for a project that cost under $40 total…

I can’t get her out of it, so I call that a success!

(Excuse the blank walls — I took all the art down, and now that’s become a project for another day!)

Hope you had a productive weekend too!

See the finished room here!

And check out my instagram for more ideas…

Go you! This is awesome. Thanks for sharing. I might use this some day. I saw some that you can buy in Land of Nod or Pottery Barn Kids catalogs.

I want one for myself to hide in.

This is the cutest! I love pom-poms and always thinking of new ways I can incorporate them. Love how easy it is to just hot glue them as some trim.

Each new age brought the criminal element forward with it. Advertisers all over the place, advertising everything underneath the sun. Make certain that the payment gateway you are making use of, permits similar languages as the remaining of the web pages
so that they can match well together.

Since you are using two panels, what other spaces on the sides are open for ribbon to slip through besides the back?
