I’m off to Hawaii tomorrow, taking my little girl to visit my grandfather. But packing for a tropical destination in the fall? Not as easy as you’d think. Your summer wear is worn out, and you hesitate to purchase anything you can’t take into fall…or at least next spring. Here’s my thinking with this particular warmer weather wardrobe:
FEDORA
Although this option is straw, this hat style is not going out of style any time soon.
Brixton ‘Leighton’ fedora
COVERUP
In navy and with sleeves, this can be easily paired with jeans and booties.
Jen’s Pirate Booty ‘Dahlia’ tunic
MONOKINI
A black lacy look gives this swimwear option some edge for fall.
Anna Kosturova ‘Flashback Monokini’
GRAPHIC TEE
Throw a blazer over this when you get back to cooler temps.
Sundry ‘Aloha’ muscle tee
KIMONO WRAP
I love the idea of belting this with jeans and a scarf. Bonus: it’ll be spring-ready.
D.Ra ‘Dewberry’ kimono
DAY-TO-NIGHT SUNDRESS
An essential on any holiday, but this striped number with a leather or denim jacket (or sweater cardi) and boots would be boho-perfect. Or, save it for spring.
BCBG striped wrap maxi dress
ALL DAY TOTE
Longchamp totes are versatile, durable, seasonless, and will never go out of style. A must-have for any closet.
Longchamp ‘Le Pliage’ medium tote
DENIM SKIRT
Instead of going the shorts route, a skirt you can pair with leggings, boots and a sweater.
RES Denim ‘Miss World’ mini skirt
PEDI POLISH
Rose gold is the ‘it’ color of the season, and perfectly beach-appropriate.
NARS ‘Iconic Color’ nail polish in Pastorale
GLADIATOR SANDALS
These will be huge for spring. Promise.
Steve Madden ‘Athen’ gladiator sandals
See, it can be done!
Love these picks! Thanks for sharing xx
